FIDES 2011
Forum for Civic Initiatives in cooperation and with support from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund Foundation, in a solemn ceremony held the FIDES Award Ceremony.
The FIDES Award symbolizes great gratitude to companies and individuals who have systematically and carefully supported joint interest activities and projects.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, parliamentary groups, mayors, local businessmen, humanists, charitable activists and others were invited to the ceremony.
Haki Abazi from Rockefeller Brothers Fund, stressed that “this event helps build and strengthen the value system, which is the only way to ensure that Kosovar society will be able to overcome the trajectory of difficulties and create transparent institutions, which will lead Kosovo to the European family. ”
FIDES Award for the National Contribution was won by the following companies: Reiffeisen Bank in Kosovo, for its contribution to education, in promoting competition and in assessing the quality of education; ProCredit Bank for support in the support of marginalized categories in society and IPKO Telecommunications for the contribution to the dissemination of information technology.
FIDES Award for contribution at the local level was given to the company Elektrostublla, for its contribution to supporting the organization of the community in improving the infrastructure.
FIDES Award for individual contribution from the diaspora “Anton Cetta“, was won by Mrs. Melinda Rrahimi from Denmark for her contribution to supporting social categories and schools in some municipalities and Mrs. Ylfete Fanaj from Switzerland For the contribution to the social integration of our compatriots and foreigners in Switzerland, an award which was presented by the daughter of the famous Albanian humanist Anton Cetta.
