Day 6 of APN Kosovo 2026 explored the theme Technological Paths to Peace: AI and Innovation for a New Resilient Future, highlighting the role of emerging technologies in shaping more inclusive and sustainable societies.Participants engaged with Kadire Tahiraj, a pioneering technology and policy expert whose work bridges innovation, governance, and gender equity. As one of the first women programmers in Kosovo and Director of Women in Tech Kosovo, she shared insights from her experience in AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, alongside her advisory roles in government and smart city initiatives.Through her interdisciplinary journey—spanning academia, entrepreneurship, and public service—Kadire emphasized how technology can be leveraged as a tool for empowerment, resilience, and peacebuilding, particularly when women are meaningfully included in its development and leadership. She also worked closely with participants on refining their capstone project ideas and developing their own GPTs, encouraging innovative, tech-driven approaches to real-world challenges.The session underscored the importance of ethical innovation, inclusive digital ecosystems, and forward-thinking leadership in building a more resilient and peaceful future.
