Day 5 of APN Kosovo 2026 focused on resilience, community leadership, and women’s empowerment in post-conflict settings.Participants engaged with the powerful story of Kadire Tahiraj, a Kosovo war survivor who rebuilt her life after profound loss by raising three orphaned children as her own and becoming a leading advocate for women in her community. Through her work with Women for Women, she has supported and mentored over 120 women.The day also included a field visit to Mitrovica Community Building, where participants engaged directly with local efforts to strengthen community cohesion.The discussions and visits highlighted the transformative power of grassroots leadership and the critical role of women in building sustainable peace.
