Day 2 of APN Kosovo 2026 focused on the critical intersection of gender and conflict.Participants engaged with powerful insights from Dr. Feride Rushiti, founder of the Kosovo Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims (KRCT), who shared her decades of advocacy for survivors of wartime sexual violence and her role in advancing recognition and institutional support for victims. The session also featured Genc Broqi, a senior leader in governance and community development, who reflected on the importance of inclusive education and social cohesion in post-conflict societies.The discussions underscored the central role of gender in understanding conflict and highlighted the importance of survivor-centered, community-driven approaches to building lasting peace.
