FIQ launches “CSOs Going Digital” project

The Forum for Civic Initiatives (FIQ) has begun the implementation of the project “CSOs Going Digital” which will promote the digital transformation of CSOs in Kosovo. The main goals of the project are to increase the capacity of CSOs and the media to address the challenges related to the Digital Agenda, empowering them to become active participants in this process and to raise issues related to the digital agenda within civil society and the media. As part of this project, CSOs in Kosovo will benefit from digital training programs, cooperation with other participating organizations, mentoring by experts in technical fields, and financial support to conduct digital transformation within organizations.

The project aims to identify and support small and medium organizations in Kosovo, which by applying for this project, will develop the capacity of their staff and transform conventional community outreach techniques into digital ones.

Who can apply?

This project is specially tailored for CSOs established in Kosovo during the last 10 years. For each participating organization, two staff members shall be involved to attend training, which is focused on the digital transformation of the participating organizations.

Selection process?

FIQ will carefully review and evaluate all applications received. Upon checking the eligibility of all applications, 20 organizations shall be selected (2 people from each organization) to become part of the project. The evaluation criteria for determining the best applications shall be based on the following elements:

  • The organization must have been established during the last 10 years;
  • Organizations that do not have/have a small digital presence;
  • Long-Term Social and Educational Impact on the Community;
  • Selected applicants are required to register on the state platform of the Ministry of Public Administration.

*Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda is co-financed by European Union.
